Filling Up a Shot Glass Curio
Loved It So Much I Bought Another One
Recently my wife and I had purchased a Napa Foret curio cabinet. It was a truly magnificent piece of furniture and was chosen to occupy an honored place in our bedroom to hold her jewelry. It had become the focal point. I looked at it and then at my shot glass collection and decided that the two weren’t compatible so I began to search for a shot glass curio for my den.
On the surface it sounded like a simple and straight forward mission that I should be able to complete before lunch. All I wanted was a display case to house my shot glass collection.
It turned out that the mission wasn’t quite as quick or as simple as I thought. It turned out that the choices of shot glass curio cabinets was almost unlimited. I found wall mount curio cabinets....some with just shelves but some with compartments just large enough to hold a shot glass.
I finally chose one that had the compartments. That isn’t really true...I chose TWO that had little compartments. After giving my curio cabinet dilemma a great deal of thought, I decided that not only did I need one for my shot glass collection but also one for my golf ball collection. The two collections are related, you see. I collect a golf ball from each tournament that I enter and also a shot glass for each tournament. By buying two shot glass curios I now am faced with the very happy prospect of filling both of them with golf balls and shot glasses.
Empty cubby holes in my shot glass curios aren’t very attractive so I am going to be required to enter every golf tournament that happens for the next few years just to make my shot glass curios look complete.
