The Search for Missouri Curio Cabinets

Missourians Love Their Curio

It isn’t the official state motto, of course, but Missouri calls itself the ‘show me state’. Maybe that is why so many Missourians own tall curio cabinets. They know that they need to ‘show’ who they are and what they love to their family and friends by displaying their trophies, their collections or their family heirlooms in tall curio cabinets.

Tall curio cabinets are available in styles that will compliment any decor. Curio cabinets that stand seven feet are called tall curio cabinets. They can be tall and narrow or they can be tall and wide...even as wide as they are tall. Tall curio cabinets are sometimes called display cases. The display cases that house school athletic trophies in the entrance halls to many schools are tall curio cabinets.

Curio cabinets have been used for many centuries. They were used to display the treasures of kings and queens of old long before Missouri became a state of the union or even before there WAS a union but Missouri certainly took ‘show me’ to heart and Missourians most certainly do love tall curio cabinets and they love them in all of the styles that are available.

Missourians display their treasures in tall curio cabinets. These curio cabinets are often made the focal point of the largest and most lived in room of their homes and the room in which they entertain their family and friends.

Oak curio cabinets and cherry curio cabinets as well as curio cabinets that are made of glass and steel can be found in many homes in Missouri and each is a loved treasure by the family that owns it and uses it to display their treasures and collections.

Missouri is the show me state and ‘show me’ (and the rest of the world) is what they do best with their tall curio cabinets.
