The Search For My Dream Curio

The search for the perfect curio cabinet for our new home was in full swing. We had a tall stack of catalogues and we had searched the Internet repeatedly for a corner curio cabinet and curio cabinet lights.

There were so many choices it was quite mind boggling. We knew that it had to be a corner curio cabinet because that was the space that just begged for the right piece of furniture. The obviously right piece of furniture was a corner curio cabinet with lights.

We were well aware of the fact that curio cabinets turn into family heirlooms over time and that they are passed from one generation to the next so we wanted the corner curio cabinet that we chose to turn into one of those treasured pieces.

Pictures in catalogues are great and pictures on the Internet are, as well, but until you actually see a piece of furniture it is hard to tell how much character it has.

At last! We found exactly the right piece of furniture. It is a White Oak corner curio cabinet with curio cabinet lights that are halogen. The two sides that hug the walls are mirrored and reflect the light beautifully. It stands almost seven feet tall and is about three feet wide and two feet deep. The shelves are adjustable which was another important feature that we were looking for. It is, of course, a Barrington corner curio cabinet. We chose it for its excellence!
